Happy Labor Day Weekend everyone!
It seems that every post I’ve read over this weekend talks about the mixed emotions of the sadness that surrounds the end of summer and the excitement of the possibilities that fall seems to bring. When I noticed this puddle of water balloons well past their prime at our local playground this weekend, I paused for a moment to reflect on what a roller coaster ride of emotion this summer has been for me. Some real highlights happened (my twin babies turned 2!) and some sad moments as well (I had to say a final goodbye to my 97-year-old grandmother). All that said, however, one of the most exciting things happening right now is that we are in the final stages of building out the new Brooklyn Flagship location of Hiho Batik!
